LIttle Girl,
You’ll have to learn to cry on your own.
You’ll have to learn to cry on your own.
“It’s all a holographic projection of our minds” – At the time, 14 years ago, I did not fully comprehend it but I knew it was true, I had a massive ‘aha!’ moment.
We create myths and call them mysteries when we can’t find a logical, explainable (5 senses ‘proved’) reason of its existence or behaviour. But let me tell you: there are no mysteries, as long as you don’t fear knowing. We encase ourselves in myths when we fear truth. But everything, absolutely everything, has a mental – I won’t say scientific- explanation. And I know only a bit about that.
Of the four,
it is my favourite season.
The spirits wane,
hibernating, romanticising.
It is the perfect time to dream.
I am so free.
So, so free
that I don’t have anywhere to go.
The world is heavy,
the sky falls upon me
and the gentle sun
is too hot… even here.
As a trainer, with my humble sports nutrition knowledge and experience I have designed a good number of Nutrition Plans for my clients, all of them with different food intolerances, allergies, preferences and tastes. In most cases, for fat loss/body toning, the rules are to increase protein and green vegetables’ intake and reduce fat amounts and unnecessary calories from ‘nutritionally empty foods’ (which may be rich in micronutrients and water but not macros, such as celery, lettuce, mushrooms, bone broth, etc). Now, is this optimal and adequate for every individual? the answer is no.
Can’t you hear their frantic laughter?
We are stupid, foolish, malleable, weak, predictable.
Orgies of fun at our expense.
Like them, I am growing an extra layer or two.
Funny how strangely I am enjoying this.
