The Sun Heals

There is a reason why Brits retire in Spain or why the Scandinavian countries are half empty. The Sun. The Sun is the giver of life, and it has been there forever. Worshiped by every civilization as the God, it couldn’t be any less, as there is no existence in this plane without it.

Yesterday, making good use of the sun.

So why do we get bombarded with ominous messages such as “the sun is dangerous and causes cancer”, or “you need to use SPF otherwise you’ll age sooner”? Well, that’s because we are living under a medical/societal/political/economical system that is not there to help us thrive, but to destroy our humanity, our health, to keep us dumb and numb with products, “things” external to us that distract us from the answer: we on the inside, and nature.

How could the Sun, that all-powerful star which gives life, harm us? Ask an animal, or a plant. Well, you can die from drinking too much water too, but water is essential to life. It doesn’t mean that you have to burn in the sun – listen to your body and don’t be a prick. You want to get tanned? do it gradually, not all in one go, it’s not going to happen, and that’s where people go wrong: wanting things NOW, hence looking for quick fixes. It. Does. Not. Work. Wake. The. Fuck. Up.

But, aside from aesthetic effects, we need the Sun for metabolic processes and for the activation of the nervous, hormonal and lymphatic systems that play a crucial role in healing and maintaining a healthy body. When the natural sun light hits the eyes first thing in the morning it sends a message to the nervous system that no other device can do, it literally “lights up your house”. Likewise, it boosts the serotonin levels in the body. Additionally, the amount of daylight exposure you get is crucial in maintaining a normal circadian rhythm. Not to mention the activation of vitamin D in the body, promoting bone growth and a healthy immune system. It is of very little help to take vitamin D tablets under a permanent cloudy sky. Also, the UV rays decrease blood pressure. Exposing 80% of your body (wear a bikini or even better, nothing at all) to the early morning sun (before 10-11am) is one of the best pieces of medicine you can get, it also promotes fat loss, and it actually reduces the risk of skin cancer – and other cancers – as you can see in this study (there’s no need for a study on this)! As you can see, there is more than one reason why the feeling of “warmth” carries only positive connotations, and it comes from the Sun.

“The brighter your daylight exposure, the more melatonin you produce at night”

Dr. Mithu Storoni

Do not, by the power of Grayskull, apply sunscreen. That shit is full of chemicals that go straight to your kidneys, liver and lungs. They disrupt the hormonal system and they tick all the boxes to cause cancer. This article explains the thick of it quite well. It is a massive scam. So, if you need to protect specific areas of your skin from long exposure to the Sun (because you live in the desert or because you have to work under it for long hours), apply something natural sparingly, such as inexpensive and safe carrot seed oil or raspberry seed oil, which have a naturally high SPF (everything we need is found in nature, but they won’t tell you this on the news!).

Also, we are constantly being told that if you have a skin tag, or a mole, or sun spots, or stretch marks, or wrinkles, that you must remove them, because it makes you look “old” or “ugly”, or because they can be an early sign of cancer, or “pre-cancerous”. By that rule of thumb, everything is “pre”!, ffs, I can be pre-obese, pre-diabetic too, if I don’t take care of myself. And so we have the quick fixes that are immediately available, such as: needles, injections, lasers, creams, botox, surgical operations and other invasive treatments that only remove the expression of the underlying issue. There isn’t such a thing as a disease or an illness. Our skin is a map of our self expression, and everything that’s going on underneath manifests in the surface, it is our own uniqueness and the body’s way of healing, living and being human! So if you have a tendency to have moles, it is the expression of your hormonal, nervous, and other systems (emotions/patterns/thoughts, of course), and it is only when you change from the inside that you will see the changes on the outside, yes, also in the skin and in the physical.

It’s not the Sun’s fault. It never was and it will never be. Take responsibility.
